Under Oath: Josh Guillory denied knowledge of any investigations into LCG.

Josh Guillory sued his opponent for saying he is “corrupt” -- in an attempt to silence her speaking out about his Administration during the campaign.

Guillory took the stand under oath to proclaim that he has done nothing that is corrupt.

Under cross examination, Guillory denied any knowledge of investigations into Lafayette Consolidated Government. Even when prompted, Guillory denied knowledge of the widely reported investigations by the FBI, US Army Corps of Engineers, and Legislative Auditor.

In the hearing, the attorneys representing Guillory's opponent, Mrs. Monique Boulet declined to present a case, stating that the Mayor-President had failed to prove his allegation.

The Judge agreed, ruling against Guillory's censorship effort on the spot.

Josh Guillory’s effort to silence his opponent failed miserably. In the process, he raised even more serious questions about his honesty, judgment, and state of mind.
